GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Dismantling Heavy-Trucks and other vehicles. This will be both routine and requested for Sales and other departments.
. Perform pre-sale inspections on parts to determine condition.
. Perform engine inspections as requested.
. Load customer purchased parts into customer vehicles when needed.
. Utilize forklifts and potentially other heavy machinery to move trucks, lift parts etc.
. Maintain clean workspace, company vehicle, tools and ensure work area is cleaned at the end of each workday.
. Deliver parts to shipping department as needed, utilizing company provided vehicle.
. Breakdown tires, differentials, etc. to keep up with inventory/customer demands.
. Work independently to complete daily tasks and potential pull/inspector requests.
Key Points:
. Tools will be provided initially; however, employee is expected to purchase their own tools. I.E
Specialized equipment (Tire gun, torching equipment, etc.) will be provided.
. Steel toe boots are required. These are not provided, but a $150/year reimbursement is
available to all full-time employees.
. Company vehicle and uniform is provided after initial training period. Company vehicle is for use
on campus only and cannot leave to premises at any time.
Working conditions are primarily outdoor and loud noises are routine. Our department is
located next to multiple active railways. Hearing protection is available on-request.
CTOS has a dedicated 24/7 security patrol to the campus. Fence and gates control entry.
Requirements:
Basic mechanical aptitude required.
Drivers license (Required to use company vehicles.
Forklift training a bonus, but not required (Training will be provided)
