Summary
The Supply Chain & Logistics intern is responsible for supporting the freight department and other areas of the Custom Truck One Source supply chain team. Successful interns possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain and Logistics Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain management, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning. You will work closely with our supply chain professionals to support projects that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Effectively communicate with transportation vendors, customers, and internal staff to meet deadlines.
Participate in logistics and transportation planning, including tracking shipments and resolving delivery issues.
Support both operations, quality, and sales efforts within the transportation realm including invoicing, PO management, ERP and TMS training, data analysis and cross-department collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Manufacturing, or related field
Ability to multitask
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong understanding of Customer Service Mentality
Self-motivated problem solver
Experience with windows-based software
Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
Working Conditions

Works between an office and plant environment with exposure to varying degrees of temperatures and noise.

Attendance - The ability to work as scheduled with punctual attendance, Monday-Friday plus additional hours/days necessary to meet business demands.
