CustomCARE CBC is a licensed home care agency and one of the larger PCA agencies in Minnesota headquartered in Bloomington. CustomCARE employs about 500 Caregivers and Nurses serving primarily the Medical Assistance market for about 1,000 clients in the greater Metro Area. We are looking for an organized and energetic individual to add to add to our management team of ten to assist with administrative duties in the office. It is important that that this individual is a team player and be a highly organized, self starter that can juggle many tasks at once with the support of our office team.
Our ideal Administrative Coordinator will be enthusiastic about working in a Human Resources role in the health industry and comfortable working in a smaller, busy office environment processing paperwork, doing data entry, and handling phone calls. This position has several career paths if you are looking for growth potential. Any experience with human resource functions is a plus, but more important than anything else, you must be a genuine, caring individual and believe in our mission to help people stay independent in their own homes.
Responsibilities
Onboarding
● Complete onboarding and hiring processing for new hires;
● Ensure required documentation is in Document Manager for the new hire (application, disclosures, background checks);
● Communicates with applicant to ensure they have information and access to the HRIS
● Conducts onboarding appointments- collects hire paperwork, verifies I-9 documents, employment verification
● Completes appropriate state required background check and reference checks
● Schedules new hires for hepatitis B vaccine or TB test, as applicable
Administrative
● Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation in electronic Document Manager.
● Supports HR Business Partner with unemployment and workers compensation practices
● Collaborates with quality management team with internal and external audits of employee files
Job Requirements:
● High School Diploma or equivalent
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
● Proficiency with technology
● Attention to detail
● Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive and personal information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion.
● Basic knowledge of requirements around employment eligibility
● Occasional travel may be required
● Human Resources experience preferred
