Repair and adjust camera and lens products to meet factory specifications with a high level of quality and reliability in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Repair camera and lens products to meet factory specifications
Provide technical support to departmental staff as required.
Provide written and verbal information to the Service Department staff and customers
Input data into computer system regarding repair labor and parts replaced
Communicate with the management on all product-related issues
Coordinate with the help desk phone agents to troubleshoot camera issues which were previously repaired or that may need to come in for repair
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications include:
High School Diploma or GED
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet skills for business purposes
Formal training or 1-2 years experience with digital and mechanical equipment
Verbal and written communication skills
Interpersonal communication and organizational prowess
Adaptive to change and takes ownership of tasks, including tolerance of stress
Multi-tasking and customer service skills
Basic electronic and mechanical devices skills
Ability to use basic tools and test instruments
Diagnostic/troubleshooting skills
Ability to read schematics
Ability to diagnose camera failures using application software
WORKING CONDITIONS
Works on-site in a warehouse/office type facility
Overtime may be requested due to business needs
Occasional travel may be required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sitting for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally may require lifting above the shoulders.
Use of tools and testing equipment in a safe manner
