Overview
CVP is currently seeking DRT/CT Technologists to support operations at the White River Junction VA Medical Center located at 163 Veterans Dr, White River Junction, VT 05009. Services to be provided include the full range of CT Imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients to include call shift. Multiple shift schedules with on-call service are available.
Night Shift:
Week 1: Sunday 2400-0800, Thursday 2000-2400, Friday 2400-0700; 2000-2400, Saturday 2400-0800; 2000-2400Week 2: Sunday 2400-0800, Wednesday 2000-2400; Thursday 2400-0600; 2000-2400, Friday 2400-0700; 2000-2400, Saturday 2400-0800; 2000-2400
Rate:
Weekly Rate - $2120 per week ($53/hr)
Travel, Lodging and Per Diem provided
Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities
- Provides CT Imaging care covering the range of services that would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, at a standard of care that equals or exceeds VA Standards and the TJC
- Adheres to the ARRT Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards in the science of radiology to improve the quality of services to VA patients
- Promotes the safe and effective use of diagnostic radiology through the utilization of specific training, skills, and techniques
- Performs organ-specific and subspecialty-specific imaging including:
- CT Diagnostic Imaging
- Abdomen
- Pelvis
- Neuroradiology Imaging
- Cadiovascular / Extremity
- Cardiac
- Performs related administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Associated Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program ARRT (CT) certification is required
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
- A minimum of two (2) years of proven clinical experience in CT Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting
- Must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months
- Prior work experience with the GE-64 750HD and Siemens SOMATOM Force is preferred
- Prior VA experience is desirable
- No sponsorship available
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
