Anesthesiologist

Overview

CVP subsidiary Titan-Auxo, LLC is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologists to join our team in providing our nation's veterans with high-quality anesthesiology services for the VA Western New York Healthcare System in Buffalo, NY located at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215-1129.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesiology services for a wide range of surgical procedures.
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and develop anesthesia plans.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures.
• Manage post-operative care and pain management.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comply with all VA policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in departmental meetings.
• Supervise and teach anesthesiology residents and other trainees, as applicable.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in the VA's electronic health record system.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME-approved residency in Anesthesiology.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology from the American Board of Anesthesiology.
• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state or territory.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain VA credentialing and privileging.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to pass a government background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a VA medical center or with Veteran populations.
• Familiarity with VA systems and procedures.
• Experience with a wide range of surgical specialties and complex cases.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and patient safety.

Shift

• Normal OR Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
• On-Call: 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM. 3-5 calls per month expected on a rotating schedule.
