Overview
CVP is seeking a Data Analytics Specialist to work with CMS Model Space platform and manage complex healthcare data aggregation and analysis. The ideal candidate will collaborate with CMS third-party contractors while executing sophisticated data analysis across multiple healthcare data sources.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Model Space Management:- Execute data analysis projects using Model Space analytical workspace
- Collaborate effectively with CMS third-party contractors managing Model Space
- Articulate and document data requirements to Model Space management team
- Write and maintain code for analyzing CMS data from the IDR-C
- Lead data aggregation initiatives across multiple sources, including: - Medicare claims - Commercial claims - State Medicaid claims - Clinical data - Laboratory data - Patient registry data - Community-Based Organization data
- Develop and implement data-linking strategies across diverse datasets
- Perform calculations related to: - Patient attribution - Quality measures - Payment analytics
- Review and understand ISP contractor software implementations
Qualifications
- Experience with CMS Model Space
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 5 years experience in healthcare data analytics
- Demonstrated experience in data aggregation across multiple healthcare data sources
- Programming skills in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages
- Experience working with large healthcare datasets, preferably CMS data
- Knowledge of healthcare quality measures and payment models.
- Must be eligible to work on CMS contracts
