We are currently seeking an accomplished Governance and Risk Management Professional to join our internal audit team as an Audit Director. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading the development of our risk-focused audit plan, overseeing the daily operations of our Financial Internal Audit Team, and providing guidance on governance, risk management, and controls. With a focus on delivering high-quality audit results, you will drive improvement initiatives, foster collaboration with stakeholders, and promote a culture of continuous learning within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Audit Executive in developing the annual risk-focused audit plan
- Administer and direct the daily operating functions of the Financial Internal Audit Team
- Provide research and guidance on setting objectives, scope, and testing methodology
- Coach internal audit team members on developmental goals
- Develop and update Corporate Audit Policies and Procedures
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need a strong background in auditing, finance, or business, preferably with an MBA. Certification as a CPA, CIA, CFE, CRCM, or CFSA is highly desirable. You'll also require advanced knowledge of financial accounting and reporting concepts, internal control identification, evaluation, and testing, as well as expertise in applying professional auditing principles and practices. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and lead cross-functional teams.
