Application Analyst

Summary / Objective :

The Silver Bullet Application Support Analyst will be an essential member of our team and will be responsible for the support and training of users, and processing standard changes of the business software and data systems. The Silver Bullet Application Support Analyst will take an analytical approach to ensure that the computer application systems being used meet the needs of the organization. You will need to analyze the existing system(s) to develop, design, and implement any iterations and replacements to try and better meet the goals of the organization. Being able to analyze, diagnose, and resolve any issues of the application or errors that may occur. Must have a strong work ethic and self-motivation to acquire and maintain the technical knowledge and skills necessary to support the entire organization. The Silver Bullet Application Support Analyst will work cross-functionally to support teams and departments, as needed. You will need to be interested in learning more about the business, our clientele, and how to apply critical thinking to support our team and organization.

• Support all requests from team members and the client throughout the company, ensuring that all requests are properly answered, submitted and prioritized in a timely manner.
• Analyze current system and make appropriate suggestions, solves, and updates necessary for the system.
• Provide excellent support to resolve / fulfill requests per standard procedures and utilize our collective knowledge and collaboration for our managers, experts, and 3rd party support personnel as needed.
• Training users on ERP and other business system applications.
• Build, change, and publish reports in Power BI.
• Assist with EDI operational issues.
• Analyze issues to identify and propose improvements to business systems that will enhance user experience.
• Work with stakeholders and developers to develop, test and deploy software changes.
• Participate in writing and maintaining standardized technical and user documentation of systems, changes and root cause analysis.
• Stay up to date with current technological trends and industry developments.
• Lead projects and tasks as assigned.
• Assist in the preparation and documentation of user requirements and specifications.
• Perform application performance tests on new and existing systems.
• Work with client's subject matter experts to gather and document business, workflow, and data requirements.
• Design, architect and develop integrations with other systems.
• Write technical specifications and technical documentation.
• Strong experience of database technologies (SQL, Oracle, Relational Database, Analytics).
• Requires strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Experience with cloud services (Microsoft Azure).
• Perform any other job duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

Salary range : $90k-$95k / yr.

Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
