Responsibilities
* Teach knowledge and skills in subject area to secondary students utilizing the course of study prescribed by the District-approved curriculum.
* Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
* Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
* Participate in faculty and/or District committees and the sponsorship of student activities.
Qualifications
* Valid California Credential or license authorizing service in grade levels and areas assigned.
* CLAD or equivalent; BCLAD preferred.
* NCLB qualified.
* Bachelor's degree, including all courses to meet credential requirements.
* Student teaching, internship, or full-time teaching experience.
