Irrigation Technician: Certified - Potential $500.00 Sign-in bonus after 90-Days.
We are looking for an Irrigation Technician to join our sprinkler installation and repair team. Our ideal candidate has some experience in irrigation and is comfortable working independently, but we are willing to train applicants with basic mechanical skills and a good work ethic. Since this job involves traveling to different locations to perform various repairs, you must have a clean driving record and driver’s license. All applicants must have ATLEAST a technician certification.
Currently looking for a San Antonio based technician, and an Austin based technician.
This position has a potential to grow into a lead/foreman position. The rate is $20-$25/hr depending on experience.
Qualifications
Irrigation Technician Requirements and Qualifications
- Install / or repair irrigation or sprinkler systems
- Test systems for potential issues
- Evaluate winterization of each system
- Sprinkler valve repair
- Landscape areas as needed
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Some post-secondary training in irrigation or landscaping is preferred
- TECHNICIAN certification (AT MINIMUM) is REQUIRED
- Able to read, write, and follow directions.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Bilingual communication skills preferred
- If you have experience in lawncare chemical application, that will be a plus.
- Background check may be required
