Job Vision : The Outbound Coordinator – International is responsible for coordinating outbound shipping for international destinations. This position provides highest level of customer service and team collaboration to ensure shipping of products for international

Job Summary and Essential Functions :

This at-will position has general responsibility for coordinating all outbound shipping side on a daily basis with an emphasis on international shipping. The coordinator is responsible for the packing, weighing, manifesting and shipping of product for international destinations in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

Essential Functions :

1. Oversee the packing, weighing, manifesting and shipping of all orders.

• Coordinate the packing, weighing, manifesting, shipping and putting to Pack and Hold all orders in accordance with the highest possible levels of productivity, accuracy and quality
• Ship packages domestically and international
• Provide rate quotes to Customer service
• Work with Excel
• Maintaining routing guide files
• Process shipments using UPS World ship
• Create commercial invoices
• Utilize customer routing guides to determine shipping
• Communicate with carriers for pickups
• Create Bills of lading
• Communicate to customers Advance Shipping Notice information
• File U.S. Customs documents with AES.gov
• Manifest and invoice shipments using PKMS
• Use SAP to research orders
• Maintain shipping records and data.

2. Maintain a Safe Work Place

A. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety

B. Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area

C. Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA and MSDS Standards and Certification requirements

3. Responsible for Equipment

A. Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all Materials handling equipment and RF equipment

4. Maintain Quality to Company Standards

5. Maintain all Records

6. Maintain Open Communications

As an essential function of this position, the employee must be able to handle high levels of stress satisfactorily and be congenial with other employees and customers at all times. The employee must not pose a threat to the safety of others.

Mindset and orientation :

Education and Experience :

High School Diploma, some college preferred

Three to five years experience in warehousing / distribution, must have international shipping experience.

Skills needed

Computer knowledge and experience with Word and Excel

Email and phone communication skills in English. French language skills a plus.

Workstation Environment :

1. Cubicle in warehouse

2. Cold / hot

3. Dusty

4. Safety concerns require the wearing of closed toe / heel shoes in the warehouse

5. Must wear warehouse appropriate apparel
