About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Countertop Fabricator to join our team on a 3rd shift schedule, working from Sunday to Wednesday nights. As a Fabricator, you will play a vital role in the success of our business, working with a team to fabricate high-quality countertops using various hand tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating sanders, miter saws, table saws, and routers
- Cutting and assembling countertops to specified sizes
- Cutting and applying build-up
- Banding countertops
- Fabrication of applied edge tops
- Installation of sinks into countertops
- Gluing and laying laminate
- Cutting and finishing backsplashes
- Applying adhesive and silicone for solid surface tops
- Filing/sanding and cleaning tops for final quality check
- Basic CNC Machine operation
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas
Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to stand/walk for a minimum of 9 hours.
- Must have good vision, color vision, hearing, speaking, and finger dexterity skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, climb, kneel, reach, and push.
- Ability to read, write, follow instructions, perform mathematical calculations.
- Ability to read prints, a tape measure, and operate hand tools.
