Job Description
Cutting Edge Fabrication is looking to add a Plasma Table operator to our team. This individual will be expected to set-up, program, adjust and operate, a computer operated Plasma/plate cutting machine, to cut single or multiple pieces from sheet and plate stock material. Be able to select tips and adjust torches. Read blue prints, specifications, and other requirements as directed
Requirements
Main Responsibilities:
· Load programs into the control
· Select and install the correct consumables into torch for the appropriate thickness and material
· Load material onto the cutting table using an overhead crane
· Operate lift truck
· Perform inspections using a caliper and tape measure
· Ability to read blueprints
· Complete necessary paperwork
· Clean and grind cut parts
· Keep area organized and clean.
Job Requirements
· Able to read a tape measure and use various inspection tools
· Knowledge of blueprints
· Basic Shop math skills
