Landscape Estimator

Cutting Edge Landscape is currently seeking a qualified landscape Estimator to join our team!

What you'd be doing:

Seeking a self-motivated professional to fill an opening in our company. You will be tasked with providing detailed cost estimates (Commercial and Residential) and selling jobs to clients. Estimators will work alongside our operations managers to share detailed information regarding the project and expectations discussed with the client. Estimators contribute to our company’s overall mission by supporting a safe work environment, responsible stewardship of company assets, and overall excellence in every aspect of our business.

Responsibilities:

1. Read and understand detailed construction drawings and specifications

2. Perform take-offs

3. Create contract documents

4. Perform site visits with clients and/or operations managers

5. Act as the main point of contact on assigned landscape and irrigation projects.

6. Interact with all levels of personnel.

7. Coordinate and schedule material deliveries and subcontractor activities

8. Manage and track changes to scope, estimate project costs including overall project bid.

9. As needed assist with company operations including but not limited to snow removal, landscape install work, maintenance work, etc...

Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience in project estimating and/or project management: 1year (Preferred)
• Design experience a plus

• Exceptional organization, reading, writing, and mathematical skills are required

• Exceptional computer skills. Previous experience with construction-related software is a plus.
• Current Driver’s license.

• Previous experience in a similar role in the industry is also preferred.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
