Job Purpose
- The Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the commissioning process for new construction or renovation projects. This includes ensuring that building systems meet design specifications and functional requirements, conducting rigorous testing, troubleshooting performance issues, and providing training and support to maintenance personnel.
- Project Oversight: Manage the commissioning process to ensure systems meet design specifications and functional requirements.
- Documentation: Create, review, and maintain detailed commissioning documentation, including test plans, reports, and system manuals.
- Testing and Analysis: Conduct thorough testing of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and controls, identifying and resolving any issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project stakeholders, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and troubleshoot system performance issues, providing solutions to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Training and Support: Train maintenance personnel and building operators on system operations and maintenance procedures.
- 5 years minimum experience in commissioning/project management
- Must have done commissioning & Registered Commissioning Agent
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, technical proficiency, flexibility in handling changing project scopes, and clear verbal and written communication skills. Extensive background in HVAC and/or controls, with the ability to investigate and recommend advanced control strategies for Energy Management Control Systems/Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Cx Alloy or similar commissioning software, and Bluebeam. Preferred knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
- Active participation in industry-related organisations for technical and professional growth.
