Job Purpose -
- The contract Process Development Scientist/Engineer will support the Process Development and Technology department by executing bench-scale and pilot-scale studies. Responsibilities include cGMP documentation, data review, and writing technical documents. The candidate will work under general supervision, contributing to R&D projects.
- Perform protein purification techniques including precipitation, chromatography, ultrafiltration/diafiltration, and filtration.
- Accurately document technical/cGXP activities and analyze/interprets analytical results.
- Author study protocols and reports with strong technical writing skills.
- Work both independently and under supervision, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Maintain cGMP documentation and review data.
- Write technical documents related to manufacturing support and process transfer projects.
- Contribute to team efforts to support R&D projects.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Biology with 1-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in protein purification techniques at bench-scale and/or pilot scale processes.
- Strong work ethic, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for team interaction.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Ability to identify and solve technical problems.
- US work authorization (Green Card, US Citizen, EAD, TN, L1 Visa, CPT, OPT).
