Position Details :

Reporting to : Executive Director.

Type : Full-time.

Location : Milford, DE (On-site).

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and oversee clinical programming and treatment programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, best practices, and continuous improvement based on patient outcomes.

Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols, fostering a secure environment for patients and staff.

Supervise and mentor clinical teams while overseeing staff training and professional development to promote accountability, consistency, and high-quality care.

Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, funding agencies, regulatory bodies, and community partners, while leading efforts to market services, attract referrals, and expand the organization’s reach.

Collaborate with the quality assurance department to assess and improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Maintain open communication with staff, stakeholders, and the board of directors, providing regular reports on progress and key metrics.

Required Qualifications :

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or a related human services field.

An Active LCSW, LPCMH, or LCDP in the State of Delaware.

At least 5 years of clinical experience in a supervisor-level role.

Training in one or more therapeutic techniques (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT, etc.).

Proficiency in de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed care in behavioral health settings.

Familiarity with patient confidentiality, healthcare code of ethics, state regulations and Joint Commission standards.

Preferred Qualifications :

3-5 years of experience in substance abuse treatment and / or mental health settings.

Experience in a director level role.

An active CAADC or CADC.

Training in various therapeutic techniques (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT, etc.).

De-escalation Training (e.g., CPI certification or related).

Related training in Trauma Proficiency (e.g. EMDR certification or related).
