Job Title : Machine Maintenance Technician
Our manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine maintenance and repair in a manufacturing setting, though experience in the following mechanical trades will also be considered : heavy or industrial machine mechanic (forklift, construction machinery, truck mechanic, boat mechanic).
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance on various machines and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic / pneumatic issues.
- Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
- Rebuild and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed.
- Use basic welding skills to repair and fabricate machine parts.
- Apply basic mechanical engineering knowledge to improve machine performance and efficiency.
- Sewing machine repair experience is a plus, but not required.
