Help kids complete their homework and lead academic enrichment activities. You will work with students in small groups and have the support of a teacher who oversees the room.

- Demonstrate accountability and reliability regarding attendance
- Exhibit the ability to communicate when there are issues, concerns or questions
- Validate the ability to assist children in grades K-8 on their school assignments
- Demonstrate strong communication skills
- Show evidence in the ability to multitask independently in a small group setting with youth
- Indicate the ability work within a team and take direction from a supervisor
- Exhibit the ability to differentiate instructional techniques to meet the needs of the youth where they are
- GPA of 2.0
- Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester;
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress;
- Adhere to college’s confidentiality policy;
- Successfully pass background/drug screening;
- Successfully complete In2vate Online Training
- Experience working with children;
- Make at least a 2 semester commitment to the program;
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to work with the community;
- Positions are located at Cuyahoga County Public Libraries located throughout the county;
- Other duties as assigned
