What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Customer Service position at Cuzzo's Cuisine?
- Greet Customers: Welcome customers warmly upon arrival or at the counter. “WELCOME TO CUZZOS!!”
- Always a cashier at the counter at all times, to greet customers.
- Order Taking: Accurately input customer orders into the POS system.
- Get confirmation from Team Lead or Management about giving Discounts,gift cards, or refunds.(if there are any concerns address management)
- Relay the wait time to customers if wait time is changed.
- Answer Questions: Provide information about menu items, specials,top selling items, add-ons and restaurant policies.
- Handle Complaints: Address customer concerns professionally and escalate them to management or team lead if necessary.
- Handling Orders: Making sure customers are satisfied with their orders and being confident that all orders are correct.
- Always show customers their food before handing it to them.
- Make sure every paid for item is on ticket and in bag before handing over food
- Examine orders to make sure there are no issues.
- Extra items for customer orders are extra money if not paid for before completing order
- Menu Knowledge Update: Familiarize yourself with specials or menu changes for the day.
- Write any specials or discounts on white board as directed by management.
- Check In: with management 30 minutes before opening via text, in person or call to check that all opening tasks have been completed.
- Kumelon Count: Restock kumelon to its required capacity and report on sheet every morning.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 – 38 per week
