Senior Financial Analyst

CV Resources is working with a successful and dynamic company in North OC that is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join the team!

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly financial reports and lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department managers, using both historical data and future projections
• Prepare periodic full P&L forecasts and pro-forma models to support planned business changes and strategic decision-making
• Provide financial planning support through detailed analysis of revenue, volume trends, and cost structures
• Analyze and interpret large datasets using general ledger, variance, trend, and ratio analysis to identify performance trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business and finance stakeholders to support month-end close and continuous process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
• 4 years of FP&A experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to explain financial insights clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and other business applications (e.g., pivot tables, macros, report design)
• Ability to navigate complex data, work under minimal guidance, and contribute to organizational financial strategy
