Position Overview :
As the Senior Staff Accountant , you will play a critical role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. This is a hands-on role that will involve working with MS Dynamics GP and leveraging strong Excel skills. The position reports to the Accounting Manager and offers significant exposure to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Analyze financial results and explain key variances to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Support audits and assist with documentation requests.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
