Overview:
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This role will support month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting while working closely with the accounting team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Maintain balance sheet accounts with proper documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support financial audits by preparing necessary documentation
- Work with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Experience with accounting software (Sage Intacct or similar is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
