Join our team as an Entry Level CAD Drafter!  Use your skills in SolidWorks and engineering to create and maintain technical documents while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You'll collaborate with teams, troubleshoot challenges, and support exciting projects. If you’re looking for a hands-on, impactful role, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities

  • Uses SolidWorks to create, develop, revise, and maintain engineering drawings and documents.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documents, including but not limited to manuals, purchasing and manufacturing specifications, work instructions, product guides, procedures, checklists, part numbers, and inspection requirements.
  • Ensure all outputs meet compliance standards, including ISO 9001, third-party certifications (ATEX / FM / CSA), and company quality procedures.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Sales, Service, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams to support project goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Provide technical training or support to other departments, such as Sales or Service, when necessary.
  • Assist in technical discussions with vendors or suppliers regarding specifications and standards.

Job Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or an Associate Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering Technology.
  • Proficiency in using technical software and tools. SolidWorks experience is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to work autonomously towards goals.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
