Experienced 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic – Join Our Team!
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our pork manufacturing plant. If you have a strong mechanical background and enjoy troubleshooting, repairing, and keeping equipment running at its best, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
Mechanical Repairs & Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across production equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
- Replace and maintain components such as bearings, pulleys, belts, chains, and sprockets.
- Repair or rebuild motors, gear reducers, and variable speed drives.
- Order necessary parts and keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
Pneumatic Systems:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, adjusters, hoses, and fittings.
- Read and interpret pneumatic schematics to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Hydraulic Systems:
- Maintain, repair, and rebuild hydraulic systems and components.
- Interpret hydraulic schematics to diagnose and restore equipment performance.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills — experience in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred.
- Basic electrical knowledge is a plus (but we can provide training).
- Ability to read and understand mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
- Strong organizational skills to manage parts ordering and maintenance documentation.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Must be able to pass Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) certification.
