What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at CVMF?
Chippewa Valley Music Festivals is looking for an individual or small team to handle all housekeeping functions at our event grounds located in Cadott WI. This position handles weekly cleaning during event season (April 1 - November 1) of 17 one-bedroom cabins, an office building, and wedding venue spaces. The housekeeper also handles as needed cleaning of music festival amenities such as dressing rooms, showers, and restrooms.
Responsibilities include cleaning tasks such as replacing bedding, completing laundry, floor cleaning, stocking amenities, and trash disposal. Other tasks include supply inventory and stocking, submitting maintenance requests, and reporting damage on a weekly basis to ensure that all spaces are held to a high cleanliness standard and that utilities are in working order. On a regular basis this position includes visual acuity, kneeling, crouching, walking, repetitive motion, lifting 50 pounds, and standing for 8 hours.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, follows policies and procedures, and takes pride in their work. This position works closely with the Events Manager to ensure excellent guest satisfaction. Cleaning experience is not required, as we are willing to train the right person. Hours are flexible as long as duties are completed in the necessary time frame. Occasional weekend hours required. There are additional opportunities for off-season work.
