What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audiology Health Technician position at CVP (Customer Value Partners)?
CVP is an Audiology Health Technicians to support our Veterans' hearing healthcare services at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS). This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 730 AM - 400 PM.

- Baton Rouge CBOC 7850 Anselmo Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70810-1101
- Assist audiologists in delivering comprehensive patient care and supporting audiology services
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Manage and maintain accurate patient records
- Conduct preliminary hearing tests under audiologist supervision
- Maintain and calibrate audiology equipment
- Clean and prepare examination rooms and equipment
- Process hearing aid repairs and maintain repair logs
- Assist with hearing aid orientation and basic troubleshooting
- Perform administrative duties including scheduling, record-keeping, and billing support
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience in Audiology services and repairs
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associates Degree in Healthcare or related field preferred
- Experience with electronic health records systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- US citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA credentials including PIV card
- Must pass background investigation
- Prior experience in VA or military healthcare settings
- Knowledge of VA systems and procedures
- Experience with hearing aid maintenance and repairs
