What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housing Case Manager position at CVR Associates?
This position will service participants in assisting low-income families and individuals, who may include the homeless, elderly, or disabled, to secure affordable housing and improved living conditions with the goal of improved quality of life and self-sufficiency. Responsible for completing the ongoing, annual, and interim examinations for the Housing Choice Voucher Program participants such as notifying participants of results, monitoring unit transfers, and making annual rent adjustments.
Candidates must have:
- Attention to Detail
- Experience with Section 8/affordable housing, tax credit, or property management experience
- Basic Math skills
- Excellent Organization skills
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Bachelors degree or at least 3 years equivalent experience working with economically and socially disadvantaged individuals and or families
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 per year
