Position Summary
The Operations Superintendent is responsible for the daily operating performance of the refinery with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include:

Education Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred.
Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of progressive refinery experience and 10 years of operations leadership experience. Advanced knowledge of refinery processes and technology is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fluency in English (oral and written).
Major Accountabilities
The Operations Superintendent will be responsible for:
- Providing leadership and developing job skills of operations personnel
- Providing daily direction to Operations Zone Supervisors to meet production and specification targets
- Implementing and driving a safety and environmental culture to achieve positive results
- Providing operations-specific guidance to inspection, project engineering, drafting/design, and electronic data management groups
- Supervising, directing, training, and developing Zone supervisors
