About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Pharmacist to join our team at CVS Health. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy. This includes patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
- Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and administration of medications to patients.
- Regulatory Requirements: Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Quality Assurance: Implement processes to ensure the accuracy and quality of medication dispensing.
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will work closely with your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff to achieve these goals. You will lead with heart, displaying empathy and compassion for your patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues. You will also motivate, inspire, and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments that maximize their strengths, address development opportunities, and decrease knowledge gaps.
