Job Summary:
As a Center of Excellence (COE) Pharmacy Technician at CVS, you will play a key role in our patient-centered outreach program, supporting clinical outcomes through daily telephonic engagement. You will work collaboratively within the pharmacy team, using various tools and platforms to identify gaps in care, support medication adherence, and deliver empathetic, high-quality service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Outreach & Clinical Support:
- Make daily outreach calls to patients as part of the Center of Excellence (COE) initiative.
- Leverage multiple patient outreach programs focused on clinical services and support.
- Communicate effectively to build trust and support positive health outcomes.
Clinical Programs & Products You Will Support:
- Immunization Gaps – Outreach to patients who are due or overdue for recommended vaccines.
- Premium Adherence – Support medication adherence for patients with chronic conditions.
- ScriptSync – Assist in aligning medication refills to improve convenience and compliance.
- Medication Optimization – Engage with patients to ensure proper medication use and reduce risk of adverse events.
Workflow & Efficiency:
- Maintain a patient-centered focus while working efficiently and productively.
- Set and maintain work pace to prevent call fatigue and meet performance metrics.
- Remain accountable to scheduled hours and call expectations.
Team Collaboration:
- Partner with pharmacists to escalate clinical concerns or complex patient issues.
- Support patients with medical condition-related questions by coordinating with the pharmacist.
Problem Solving & Agility
- Understand and analyze root causes of patient care gaps.
- Adapt to new program enhancements and campaign rollouts with agility.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical support with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a lead pharmacy technician.
- Certified to provide immunizations.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
