Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring that stock levels are adequate.
- Process medication orders and prescriptions while verifying patient information.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal acute care for patients.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage inventory and records accurately.
