CVU- JV Football Coach
CVU is looking for a knowledgeable person to coach our JV Football team for the 2025-26 season. The successful candidate will have previous playing and/or coaching experience.
The JV Football Coach is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing student-athletes in accordance with the school’s co-curricular activities program and values. They will assist the varsity coaching staff, implement training programs, and foster a competitive yet sportsmanlike team culture.
Key Responsibilities: Coaching and development, game management, player development and supervision, collaboration and communication with activities director and varsity coaching staff, and safety and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Previous football coaching or playing experience.
- Strong knowledge of football rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with coaching staff and administration.
- Must pass background checks and meet school district requirements.
- CPR/AED Certification, and must complete all mandatory NFHS courses.
The season begins on Monday August 11, 2025 and goes until the end of October. Must have the ability to attend all practices and games. The position is a "Category III activity" on our co-curricular contract and the compensation is based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Candidates will need to complete a fingerprinting and criminal records check prior to being confirmed for the position.
