What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non Intensive Paraeducator position at CVU HIGH SCHOOL?
General Education Paraeducator:
Seeking energetic paraprofessional to join our school team. We are looking for a skilled, caring individual to assist, supervise and provide support to all assigned students/groups as directed by a licensed professional. The candidate will be an advocate of inclusive education, a problem-solver and strong collaborator, and a positive team member. The ability to promote child growth, foster independence, and a willingness to learn are essential. Please note that lifting may be a requirement of this job. Position may include:
- Supporting instructional activities (including behavioral instruction), developed and adjusted as required by a designated professional
- Collecting data to share with designated professional(s)
- Supervising students when assigned, including lunch and recess duties
- Fostering independence so that students can fully participate in school activities
- Communicate with appropriate educational personnel and related service providers
- Participate in team meetings upon request
- Provide support for students on bus route
