Job Description
CVW Event Productions is seeking a part-time Human Resources Coordinator to manage various HR functions for a small business. The HR Coordinator will work 20 hours per week and will have the flexibility to work remotely with occasional in-office requirements.
The HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the HR department in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll assistance, compliance, performance management, and HRIS management. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of HR practices and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Address employee inquiries, handle employee relations matters, and assist in conflict resolution.
- Support benefits enrollment, changes, and communication to employees.
- Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
- Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist with performance reviews and evaluations.
- Manage the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and ensure data accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Human Resources or a related field.
- Knowledge of HR practices, procedures, and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Google Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
