Role and Responsibilities:
Are you ready to keep things squeaky clean and shining bright? We're looking for a Janitor to join our (Site) crew. As a Janitor, you'll be the superhero of sanitation, ensuring our space is always tidy and welcoming.
- Work with a team that primarily composed of individuals with disabilities.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum like a pro.
- Keep restrooms fresh and stocked.
- Empty trash and recycling bins with a smile.
- Help maintain a spotless environment that everyone loves.
- Attention to detail.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual—because cleanliness waits for no one!
Education and Experience Requirements:
- No Experience, No Problem
- Ability to work directly with disabled individuals.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as cleaning supplies (up to 75 pounds).
- Spend long hours standing and walking during cleaning tasks.
- Frequently bend, kneel, and crouch to clean floors, surfaces, and restrooms.
- Perform repetitive tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
- Good hand-eye coordination is required for operating cleaning equipment and tools.
Environmental Demands
- Work in various environments, including offices, restrooms, and outdoor areas.
- Possible exposure to heat, cold, rain, or snow while performing outdoor tasks.
- Use of cleaning chemicals; must follow safety guidelines.
- Exposure to noise from cleaning equipment and machinery.
