Snow Plow Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently clearing snow from roads, parking lots, and other designated areas during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of snow plowing techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various equipment safely and effectively. hours may vary, typical route on routine snowfall is about 4 hours. Hours may be long or extended based on snowfall.

Duties

• Operate snow plow vehicles to clear snow and ice from roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks.
• Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing situations.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts effectively.
• Utilize hand tools for additional snow removal tasks as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding equipment status and any issues encountered.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating machinery in adverse weather conditions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in snow plowing or related landscape maintenance roles is preferred.
• Ability to work long hours during winter storms, including nights and weekends as required.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and operate machinery for extended periods.
• A valid driver’s license is essential; additional certifications may be advantageous.
