Van Driver

Job Duties:

Load and unload materials safely and efficiently at designated locations.
Provide exceptional customer service ensuring a comfortable experience.
Safely operate vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
Follow client schedules and accommodate changes with flexibility.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
Conduct pre-and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe condition.
Transport clients to various destinations, including business meetings and events.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and ready for service.
Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when necessary.
Plan routes efficiently to avoid traffic and ensure on-time arrivals.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules.
Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups.

Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe and efficient transportation
Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules and minimize downtime.
Provide excellent customer service during interactions at job sites.
Communicate with management and complete other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is required.
Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas effectively.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining delivery records.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Work well under deadlines, ensuring timely deliveries and task completion.
Excellent communication skills for coordination with dispatch and customers
Proven experience as a driver or in a similar role
Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations
Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers and team members
Ability to load and unload freight using appropriate equipment
Must be able to pass a background check.
Able to read, write and communicate clearly and effectively in English.
Able to use a smartphone and know how to use various types of applications.
GPS proficiency in the use and understanding of how it works.
Professional chauffeur experience
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule
