What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative/ Forklift Operator position at CWallA?
We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative/ Forklift Operator at our Billings branch, commonly known as a Customer Service Representative. As an Inside Sales Representative/ Forklift operator you will provide assistance to customers over the phone and in person at the branch while supporting the day-to-day operations within the branch yard. Yard duties include, but are not limited to, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
Responsibilities:
- Providing quotes and relaying product information to customers
- Recording and accepting customer orders and payments
- Answering incoming calls and emails in a timely and polite manner
- Coordinating daily shipping and receiving schedules with drivers, and customers to ensure timely delivery
- Understanding customers’ needs and recommending products to fit each job
- Assisting with the growth of branch sales
- Safe operation of a forklift
- Accurate shipping, receiving and fulfillment of customer orders
- Preparing and staging materials for customer pickups and local deliveries
- Safely loading will-call orders into customer vehicles
- Ensuring yard products and materials are staged safely and neatly
- General yard maintenance and upkeep
- Continuously abiding by all safety guidelines and procedures
- Various yard duties between deliveries including but not limited to, shipping, receiving and filling customer orders
- Inventory control
Qualifications:
- Previous building material or construction experience
- Detail-oriented and service-driven
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Proven warehouse and forklift experience
- Ability to consistently lift and carry construction materials
- Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend and twist throughout complete shifts
Previous building material or construction experience is preferred, but not required.
