What are the responsibilities and job description for the Job Site Stocking Supervisor position at CWallA?
We are seeking a Job Site Stocking Supervisor for our CA Bay Area and CA Central Valley region. As a Job Site Stocking Supervisor, you are responsible for training and developing the region’s field personnel and managing jobsite deliveries. In this position, you will oversee Construction Material Stockers, CDL Drivers, and Boom Truck Operators at branches throughout the region. This position can be based out of our San Jose, Oakland, or Sacramento branches!
Responsibilities:
- Traveling from CA Bay Area to the CA Central Valley regularly to assist and mentor delivery teams
- Creating and implementing effective delivery strategies
- Resolving customer concerns regarding field operations
- Ensuring proper staffing levels for all deliveries to ensure safe and timely deliveries
- Overseeing field personnel training and maintaining records
- Accurate and timely reporting and investigation of all accidents, incidents and near misses
- Inventory Control
- Monitoring the daily completion and submission of all field paperwork
- Coordinating and documenting fleet maintenance and repairs
- Monitoring licensing and certifications of field personnel (i.e. driver’s licenses, forklift certification, Gradall licenses, Moffett licenses, rigging, crane calling and traffic control)
- Performing pre-delivery job walks to determine site-specific requirements
- Ensuring that all field employee hours are recorded properly and are in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Continuously abiding by all safety guidelines and procedures
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, and will typically vary between the hours of 5:00 am and 4:00 pm
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing a team of delivery professionals and/or commercial fleets
- Strong construction industry or building materials knowledge and familiarity with drywall and steel stud products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to problem-solve
- Superior written, verbal communication and public speaking skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with consistent follow-through
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel to branches within your assigned region daily
Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
