We're a rapidly expanding water and fire restoration company with headquarters in Chicago. As we continue to grow, were looking to add a full-time Staff Accountant to our close-knit finance team. If youre detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity is for you.
What Youll Do:
- Support our Senior Accountant with day-to-day financial operations
- Handle accounts payable, weekly payroll, and job invoicing
- Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of journal entries
- Assist with WIP billing and month-end close procedures
- Keep things moving on tight deadlines without missing the details
What You Bring:
- 24 years of professional accounting experience (in-house preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related fieldor equivalent experience
- Strong organization skills and self-motivation
- Experience in a growing company or startup is a bonus, but not required
