OVERVIEW
CWMF is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Master Scheduler to join our team. The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining production schedules to ensure customer demands are met efficiently and on time. This role requires a balance of strategic planning and hands-on execution, working closely with production, engineering, supply chain, accounting, and sales departments to optimize capacity, minimize delays, and drive operational efficiency. The Master Scheduler plays a key role in problem-solving and continuous improvement, ensuring resources are utilized effectively and production goals are consistently achieved.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule based on customer orders, forecasts, labor estimates, and production capacities.
Lead production meetings and provide clear, up-to-date scheduling information to all stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for schedule-related inquiries.
Foster a collaborative environment by aligning cross-functional teams around schedule priorities and ensuring accountability for on-time performance
Coordinate production workflow for multiple projects, planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
Monitor and analyze production capacity to ensure alignment with the schedule, identifying and addressing bottlenecks or resource constraints.
Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and production teams to align schedules with material availability and customer requirements.
Ensure production schedules align with inventory strategies to minimize overstock or shortages.
Monitor work orders to ensure they will finish on time, addressing issues when they arise with minimal disruption.
Ensure work orders are processed accurately and timely from creation to closing.
Prepare and submit status reports and use software to generate reports and schedules.
Anticipate and address schedule deviations, using data-driven analysis to minimize production disruptions and maintain on-time delivery.
Continuously assess and improve scheduling processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness.
Implement best practices and adopt estimating and scheduling tools / technology as needed.
Identify problems and help improve processes by collaborating with other departments and using resources in the most effective manner.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional standing and walking within the production facility.
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 20 30 lbs. as needed.
Visual acuity to review detailed schedules, reports, and production data.
Verbal and hearing acuity to communicate effectively between departments.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily works in an office setting within a manufacturing facility.
Frequent interaction with production staff, requiring occasional visits to the manufacturing or warehouse areas.
Exposure to moderate noise levels from machinery and equipment when on the production floor.
May require wearing PPE such as safety glasses, steel-toe / composite-toe boots, or ear protection when entering production areas.
Fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, requiring multitasking and problem-solving under pressure.
