Primary Objective:
As the Office Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day office functions and ensuring that all administrative tasks are executed efficiently. This includes managing office supplies, supporting office staff, maintaining office equipment, and coordinating schedules and communication across departments. You’ll play a key role in helping the company maintain a productive, organized, and pleasant working environment.
Essential Role and Responsibilities:
- Oversee general office operations, including maintaining office supplies, managing office equipment, and ensuring that the workspace is clean, safe, and conducive to productivity.
- Provide administrative assistance to executive staff, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing travel and event logistics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to the office, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for office supplies, services, and maintenance needs. Oversee office space management, including any renovations or improvements.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and coordinating employee benefits, time-off tracking, and other HR-related tasks.
- Organize team-building events, company-wide meetings, and other corporate functions.
- Basic accounting or financial administration experience (e.g., handling invoices, processing payroll, tracking expenses).
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is required (e.g., administrative assistant, office coordinator, receptionist).
- Experience managing office supplies, scheduling, and handling basic office tasks such as answering phones, handling correspondence, and supporting management.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners).
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping or financial software is beneficial, depending on the office environment.
- Experience with cloud-based document storage systems like Google Workspace, Dropbox, or SharePoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and redirect phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries efficiently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and vendors.
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) OR relevant experience or skills.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field is preferred by some employers.
- Any certifications in office management, administrative support, or project management.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
