Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team.
In this role, you will provide high-quality SLP services, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Your primary goal will be to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
- Assessment & Diagnosis: Perform evaluations to identify speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Treatment Planning: Create individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Therapy Implementation: Provide therapy focusing on speech articulation, language comprehension and expression, voice, fluency, social communication, and swallowing.
- Swallowing Therapy: Develop and administer therapy for swallowing disorders.
- Family & Caregiver Education: Train families and caregivers on supportive strategies for effective communication and swallowing.
- Collaboration: Partner with physicians, audiologists, and healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation for patient assessments, treatment, and progress.
Requirements
Valid Pennsylvania SLP license required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience with a diverse patient population is an advantage.
