About the Position :

A school that specializes in special needs is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a long-term placement. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young adults, particularly those with special needs. This role is critical to helping students improve mobility, strength, and overall physical development.

Key Responsibilities :

Assess and evaluate students’ physical needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

Implement therapy to improve mobility, strength, and coordination.

Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support.

Document and monitor student progress.

Educate staff and families on therapy goals and progress.

Schedule :

Tuesday : 8 : 00 AM – 1 : 00 PM

Wednesday : 8 : 30 AM – 12 : 30 PM

Thursday : 8 : 00 AM – 2 : 00 PM

Note : Schedule may vary.)

Qualifications :

Current Missouri Physical Therapy license.

Experience with children and young adults, especially those with disabilities.

Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Ability to create and implement individualized therapy plans.

Additional Information :

Local candidates only (no relocation or per diem offered).

Long-term commitment preferred.
