Job Title: Travel Nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate travel nurse RN to provide specialized care to critically ill children in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
About the Job:
- Skill level: Intermediate-Advanced
- Work hours: 36 hours/week, 12-hour shifts
- Duration: 13 weeks
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex care needs of pediatric patients, including monitoring physiological data and intervening as necessary.
- Administer prescribed medications, including pain management, and initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver competent and compassionate care to pediatric patients in critical condition.
- Interact with patients and families to share care plans, explain hospital procedures, and provide emotional support.
Requirements:
- RN License (Multistate or Oklahoma)
- BLS through AHA
- PALS through AHA
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a pediatric setting (preferably in a PICU)
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience in pediatric critical care or PICU setting
- Advanced assessment and intervention skills specific to pediatric care
Pay Package:
$83.33/hr || Weekly Gross: $3000/wk
