We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology Diagnostic Department on a full-time evening shift schedule. This position requires the candidate to work Sunday through Thursday, from 3 : 30 PM to 12 : 00 AM, with rotating weekend call. The ideal candidate will have strong Fluoroscopy and OR skills, recent acute care or surgery center experience, and a proven background in performing portable C-ARM procedures in a fast-paced, clinical setting.
Responsibilities :
Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures as ordered by physicians.
Operate C-ARM and other imaging equipment in the operating room and emergency department.
Assist in moderate sedation procedures, OR, and ED trauma radiographic exams.
Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all performed procedures.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide high-quality patient care.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Participate in rotating weekend on-call shifts as needed.
Qualifications :
ARRT Certification required at the time of submission.
NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist Licensure required prior to start date. Out-of-state Rad Tech License is acceptable if the candidate is willing to apply for and receive the NYS license before their start date.
Minimum of 1-2 years of travel experience in a Radiologic Technologist role.
Fluoroscopy and OR skills required. Must have high proficiency in these areas, with experience performing fluoroscopy exams in a clinical setting.
Recent acute care or surgery center experience, including proficiency in portable C-ARM operations.
Experience with Moderate Sedation, OR and ED Trauma imaging, and Fluoroscopy Exams is required.
Must be willing to commit to flex agency shifts three times during the contract period.
Local candidates within a 75-mile radius of Rochester will not be considered.
