Job Summary:
The Field Technicians Day starts with a morning meeting where you will be advised of your job assignments for the day. They will then get their trucks and equipment ready. This will require daily oil checks and safety checks on the vehicles and equipment that they are assigned to for the day. They will also mix all herbicides and gather the necessary paperwork and tablets needed for the day. The Field Technician’s role is to provide outstanding services to our customers. They provide the customers with great customer service the minute they arrive on the property. The Field Tech will go over the areas to be serviced using maps on tablets and even walking the property with the customer before beginning the service. Once the service is complete, the Field Tech will perform a final walk through with the customer and collect payment.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills:
Minimum Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Clean MVR (Driving Record)
- Customer Service Skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Entry level knowledge of complex software
- Ability to read maps and operate a tablet
- Ability to learn processes and procedures
- Ability to make decisions for tasks that are not completely defined and may have limited, clear variations of precedent or alternative, or defined solutions that should be considered
- Ability to consider the most appropriate procedure or precedent to follow to complete work
- Ability to manage time
Essential Functions:
- Provide spraying, mowing, fencing and other agriculture services to customers * Operate commercial trucks, spraying equipment, mowing equipment, and perform general labor.
- Work in all weather conditions.
- Communicate with customers and fellow employees
- Complete application records after each job
Miscellaneous Tasks
- Provides additional support as assigned by the Office Coordinator and Managers
. * Small Maintenance on equipment
- Facility and vehicle cleaning
Supervisory Responsibilities * None- no supervisory responsibility
Travel:
- Travel to and from daily job assignments using company vehicle
Physical Requirements
- Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather. There is a frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
DOE/Qualifications
Expected hours: 32 - 50 per week
Schedule: * 6 - 12-hour shift – Monday – Friday (NO Weekends) * Our work is weather dependent. Work could be called off due to wind, rain, or snow.
Ability to Commute: * Eaton/Galeton, Colorado
