Tire Technician Description:
As a Tire Technician for Cy-Fair Tire you will perform tire service and repair as well as light auto mechanic service.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing all types of tires from passenger to large trucks.
Oil changes and sensor diagnosis and repair
Unload/Load trucks and restock new inventory
Maintain tools and equipment
Sweep floors, keep work area clean, and free from hazards
Operate a forklift.
Attend meetings held by manager.
Using protective safety equipment to ensure safe operation of machines and comply with all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Any other duties requested by management.
Requirements:
Must have a valid Texas Drivers License and clean driving record.
Previous experience is required.
Frequent bending, twisting and lifting over 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
Environment is very hot during summer months and cold during winter months.
Must possess a mechanical aptitude.
Some shift work and/or work on Saturdays may be required.
Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug test.
